  • got my portfolio back! yay! driving in closer-to-rush-hour traffic gave me a new appreciation for my usual later-night commute. which is another thing to be grateful for!
  • sing?

“so I do want you to sound like you’ve been gargling gravel and broken glass…”
“okay, well, I feel like that’s going to take some doing. gimme two years of literally constant chain-smoking and we’ll come back to that?”

  • I found these two rocks a day apart – one at the train station on my way to class, the second on my way to my car after therapy. I think the universe is trying to tell me something.
  • …and I think that something is “hey you should paint stuff on rocks” maybe?
  • (I’m half joking – Maestro gave me crap for being sarcastic about it – but maybe I should paint stuff on rocks? and leave them around? Seeing these made me really happy, maybe I could give that to someone too.)
  • (…I want to be the kind of person that does this sort of thing.)

  • sometimes when you’re trying to learn about yourself you learn things that you don’t like. but it’s better to know them.
  • my teacher pulled my charcoal drawing out of the pile of stuff we were passing in today to praise me on it and ???
  • I am so grateful for my kittybeans. I love them so much.
  • Maestro thinks I can grow into a glowing egg of love and now none of you can stop me

  • mmmmmm potato.
  • as hung up as I am on how my body looks, my hands are not pretty and never will be, and I’m okay with that. I hate having sticky/slimy feeling hands from moisturizer so I am bad at moisturizing, I don’t grow my nails out long, I never had ~elegant~ hands even when I was a mere slip of a thing — they were always sort of chubby and babyish looking with short fingers. now that they often have charcoal or paint ground into the fingerprints or embedded under my fingernails… they’re not pretty. but I love them anyway.
